Yin is a slower form of yoga where we use long held poses that help us to melt away tension and stress. The practice that Sarah provides has a strong focus on mindfulness meditation, helping us to cultivate awareness of our thoughts, emotions, sensations and our reactions to them. When the poses challenge us, we begin to develop an awareness of our emotional and physical responses in challenging situations. Yin allows us the space to get to know our bodies and minds, and understand more about how they work together.
In turning our mind inward, Yin provides us with space to work through our emotional blockages and physical tension. When we release emotional and physical barriers, it ensures we can start to perform at our best.
